India Hosts FIPIC Foreign Ministers Meet In NYC

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar hosted the Foreign Ministers Meeting of the Forum for India–Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.

Focus On 12-Point Action Plan

During the meeting, Jaishankar highlighted progress on a 12-point development agenda, originally announced at the FIPIC-III Summit. The agenda emphasizes health, technology, capacity building, and training across Pacific Island nations.

Strengthening India–Pacific Ties
