The talks are expected to address tariff reductions and regulatory facilitation to boost bilateral trade volumes.

Trade and Investment Cooperation

The Gulf region is a major energy supplier and an important export destination for India, while Indian companies operate extensively across infrastructure, services and technology sectors in GCC  countries.

Negotiators are expected to examine market access for manufacturing, agriculture and professional services along with easier investment rules.

Economic Partnership Outlook

Authorities said the proposed agreement could strengthen supply chains and enhance long term economic integration. The discussions are part of broader efforts to expand trade partnerships and diversify economic engagement.

Formal negotiations are expected to proceed in phases once schedules are agreed by both sides.
