India Denies Musk Joined Modi-Trump Call

India has denied reports that Elon Musk joined the phone call between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump on the Iran war, with the Ministry of External Affairs clarifying that the March 24 conversation was only between the two leaders. The clarification comes after a foreign media report claimed the billionaire was part of the wartime discussion.

India Denies Elon Musk Call Report

The Ministry of External Affairs said the March 24 telephone conversation took place only between Prime Minister Modi and President Trump. The government said reports suggesting Elon Musk was also on the call were incorrect, firmly rejecting the claim after it gained attention in international media.

MEA Clarifies Modi-Trump Iran War Call

According to the official clarification, the call gave both leaders an opportunity to exchange views on the situation in West Asia. India reiterated its position in favour of de-escalation and early restoration of peace, while also stressing the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open, secure and accessible for global stability.

Musk Report Triggered Diplomatic Curiosity

The controversy began after a report claimed Musk had participated in the high-level wartime conversation, raising questions because private citizens are not usually included in calls between heads of government during a major conflict. India’s denial is aimed at shutting down that speculation and restoring clarity around the diplomatic exchange between New Delhi and Washington.
