India Beat Oman by 21 Runs, Stay Unbeaten in Asia Cup
India defeated Oman by 21 runs in their final Group A clash of the Asia Cup 2025 in Abu Dhabi, finishing the group stage unbeaten. Batting first, India posted 188/8, with Sanju Samson playing a composed knock of 56 off 45 balls. Abhishek Sharma gave the team early momentum with a fiery 38 off 15 deliveries, smashing four sixes in the powerplay. Tilak Varma (22 off 14) and Hardik Pandya (18 off 10) added useful runs, but Oman’s bowlers, led by Bilal Khan and Fayyaz Butt, managed to pull things back in the middle overs to prevent India from breaching the 200 mark.

Chasing 189, Oman showed grit with a 93-run stand for the second wicket between Aamir Kaleem (64 off 42) and Hammad Mirza (51 off 38).
