India Announces Squad for New Zealand Tests
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Team India’s squad for the upcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand, scheduled to start on October 16 in Bengaluru.
The squad will be led by Rohit Sharma, while ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been appointed as the vice-captain for the series. Bumrah’s elevation to this role comes just a day after speculation arose regarding Rohit Sharma potentially missing one of the first two Tests against Australia due to personal reasons.

Yadav recently made his debut for India in the ongoing T20I series against Bangladesh and has quickly garnered attention for his raw speed and ability to bowl at consistent high speeds.
