India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described the recently concluded India AI Impact Summit 2026 as a turning point in how artificial intelligence will be used globally in the future. Speaking on his monthly radio programme, Modi highlighted the summit’s global participation and India’s role in showcasing technological innovation.

In his address, Modi said the AI Impact Summit, held in New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam, brought together world leaders, industry experts, innovators and start-up founders from many countries. He said the event demonstrated how the world will utilise the power of artificial intelligence going forward and showcased India’s capabilities in AI development. Modi emphasised that the summit’s focus on human-centric and ethical AI marked a significant moment in global technology discourse.
AI Innovations Showcased To World Leaders
Modi highlighted two key innovations that attracted attention at the summit. One was an AI-powered solution helping dairy farmers with livestock care and farming operations around the clock. The other focused on the use of AI to digitally preserve and interpret ancient cultural manuscripts. He said these examples illustrated the wide range of applications for AI, from practical tools for everyday use to preserving cultural heritage.
India’s Role In Future AI Use And Cooperation
The summit also served as a platform for discussions on international cooperation and ethical frameworks for AI deployment. Modi’s remarks underscored India’s ambition to contribute to shaping global norms around artificial intelligence and its inclusive use across sectors.
