Haryana & Jammu & Kashmir General Election to Assembly Constituencies: Trends & Results

The Election Commission of India has released the updated trends and results for the General Elections to the Legislative Assemblies of Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir held in October 2024. The latest results show distinct political trends in both states.

Haryana Assembly Election 2024 Results

In the 90-member Haryana Legislative Assembly, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has maintained its lead, with updated figures as follows:

The BJP has secured 49 seats in total, while the INC has managed to secure 36 seats. Other parties and independent candidates have a marginal presence.

Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Election 2024 Results

For the 90-seat Jammu & Kashmir Assembly, the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKN) is in the lead, followed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The current standings are as follows:

The JKN currently leads with 42 seats, while the BJP follows with 29 seats. Other regional parties and independents have a smaller share of seats.

The results for both states are still being updated, and the Election Commission will release the final data once all votes are counted. These results were last updated at 04:30 pm IST for Haryana and 04:40 pm IST for Jammu & Kashmir on October 8, 2024.
