Germany Says Gaza Aid Still Far From Adequate

The German government has raised serious concerns over the volume of humanitarian aid reaching Gaza, stating it remains “very insufficient” despite recent efforts. Authorities stressed that incremental progress has not eased the suffering on the ground and demanded more effective international cooperation to address the humanitarian crisis.

Berlin Pushes Israel to Open Routes

German officials have called on Israel to guarantee unimpeded and secure passage for humanitarian aid into Gaza. The foreign ministry emphasized that all aid must flow through proper UN-managed channels to ensure transparency and equitable distribution.

European Pressure Intensifies

Germany joins a growing list of European countries demanding urgent action. Along with the UK and France, Germany has hinted at reviewing its arms policy with Israel unless the aid blockade is eased. Diplomatic efforts are underway to press for concrete Israeli commitments.

Airdrops Not Enough

Berlin’s first airdrop mission into Gaza was carried out earlier this week, but officials admitted such methods are no substitute for ground access. Aid agencies warn that food and medical shortages continue to worsen, with some deaths now being linked to starvation and lack of care. Jordan and the UAE have also conducted similar missions.

Crisis Deepens Amid Political Deadlock

As talks around a broader ceasefire remain stalled, international leaders are intensifying calls for a humanitarian pause. Germany’s foreign minister recently visited Israel and the Palestinian territories to stress the need for immediate relief and long-term political engagement.
