FIR After Pune TCS Employee Suicide

A 48-year-old TCS employee in Pune died by suicide at his residence earlier this month, prompting police to register an abetment to suicide case against three people. The FIR was filed after his son approached police, citing allegations made in a note left behind by the deceased.

Pune TCS Employee Suicide Case

The deceased has been identified as Amit Abhay Brahme, an employee of Tata Consultancy Services. Police said he was found dead at his home in the Bhosari area of Pimpri Chinchwad on June 2.

An FIR was registered at Bhosari police station on June 9 following a complaint by Brahme’s 19-year-old son. The case has been filed under provisions related to alleged abetment to suicide.

Workplace Harassment Allegations

According to the complaint, Brahme’s note accused two women colleagues at TCS of repeatedly humiliating him and affecting his work prospects. The note also alleged that he was assigned projects outside his area of expertise and denied favourable work opportunities.

A third person, reportedly not linked to the company, has also been named in the FIR. Police said the allegations are being investigated and no conclusion has been reached yet.

FIR Against Three Accused

Police are examining the note, workplace records and other material linked to the case. Statements of concerned individuals are expected to be recorded as part of the investigation.

TCS has expressed grief over the employee’s death and said it is cooperating with authorities. The case has again raised concerns over workplace conduct, employee grievance systems and mental health support in corporate environments.
