Palakkad Explosives Seizure

Officers intercepted a vehicle and recovered gelatin sticks along with detonators during routine checking. Authorities said the materials were being transported without required permits and posed a significant public safety risk.

The suspects were taken into custody and the explosives were secured following standard safety procedures.

Illegal Transport Investigation

Police registered a case under explosive substance laws and began questioning the accused to determine the origin and intended use of the materials. Investigators are examining whether the consignment was linked to unauthorised quarrying, construction activity or other unlawful purposes.

Officials stated that transportation of explosive materials requires strict licensing and documentation.
