Ex-Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar Hospitalised at AIIMS
Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi after experiencing health issues, officials said on Monday. He was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation following two fainting episodes reported last week.
Undergoing Tests and Observation
Doctors at AIIMS have advised an MRI scan and other diagnostic tests to assess his condition. Dhankhar is currently under observation, and his health parameters are being closely monitored. Hospital authorities said the admission was precautionary to determine the cause of the fainting spells.
Condition Stable
Sources familiar with the matter said Dhankhar’s condition is stable and there is no immediate cause for concern. Further details are expected after the medical tests are completed and doctors review the results.
The development prompted messages of concern from political leaders across party lines, wishing him a speedy recovery.
