Errol Musk Visits India to Boost Green Energy Drive
Errol Musk, the father of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, arrived in India on June 1 to begin his maiden visit aimed at supporting the country’s green energy transition. The 78-year-old engineer and entrepreneur has joined the Global Advisory Board of Servotech Power Systems, a key player in India’s solar and electric vehicle infrastructure ecosystem. His arrival reflects growing international interest in India’s ambitious clean energy goals and the broader potential of its green tech market.
Strategic Meetings and Factory Tour with Servotech
During his week-long visit, Errol Musk is set to engage with cabinet-level ministries, technocrats, and policymakers to understand and contribute to India’s energy transition roadmap. He will also tour Servotech’s state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Safiabad, Haryana. The company aims to utilize Musk’s strategic insights to strengthen its position in EV charging, solar solutions, and green mobility as India pushes toward its 2070 net-zero emissions target.
Cultural Stop at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya
Errol Musk’s itinerary also includes a significant cultural visit to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, where he plans to seek blessings from Shree Ram Lalla. His planned spiritual stop highlights a blend of professional intent and cultural curiosity. Musk’s interest in India’s spiritual heritage adds a personal dimension to a visit otherwise anchored in policy and industrial collaboration.
Musk Family’s Rising Engagement with India
Errol Musk’s India visit comes just weeks after his former wife and Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, visited Mumbai in April. During her trip, she launched the Hindi edition of her memoir at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. The Musk family’s increasing visibility and engagement in India signal a broader alignment with the nation’s cultural and economic trajectory.
