Congress Releases Second List for Bihar Polls
The Indian National Congress on Saturday released its second list of candidates for the upcoming 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, naming five new nominees. This comes after the party had earlier announced 48 candidates in its first list.
Names of Candidates
The five candidates named in the new list are:
- Shaswat Kedar Pandey from Narkatiaganj
- Qamrul Hoda from Kishanganj
- Irfan Alam from Kasba
- Jitender Yadav from Purnia
- Mohan Srivastava from Gaya Town
Congress’ Election Strategy
The party said the list reflects its effort to strengthen its base in different constituencies while ensuring balanced representation. Congress leaders added that more names are likely to be released in the coming days as seat-sharing discussions with allies progress.
