Bill Gates Regrets Meetings With Epstein

Bill Gates said he deeply regrets his past association with financier Jeffrey Epstein, addressing the issue again as questions resurfaced over earlier meetings between the two.

Gates acknowledged he met Epstein several times years after Epstein’s criminal conviction and described those interactions as a mistake. He said the meetings were intended to discuss philanthropy but later proved to be a serious error in judgement.

He added that maintaining contact with Epstein damaged his reputation and created unnecessary controversy around his charitable work.

Gates Foundation Clarification

The Gates Foundation has repeatedly stated Epstein had no involvement in its operations, funding decisions or programmes. Officials clarified no donations or partnerships were ever established with him.

Gates also emphasised the meetings did not result in any formal business or philanthropic relationship.

Jeffrey Epstein, a US financier, died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His connections with prominent public figures have remained under scrutiny globally, prompting repeated questions about past associations.

Gates said he regrets every minute spent interacting with Epstein and called the decision to meet him a significant personal mistake.
