Bengaluru Police Arrest 10 More Pakistani Nationals Using Fake Identities

The Bengaluru Police have arrested 10 more Pakistani nationals for allegedly residing illegally in India using fake documents, bringing the total number of accused in the ongoing case to 18.

The arrests were made on Wednesday, following the capture of Parvez, the suspected mastermind behind the network that facilitated fake documentation for these individuals.

Parvez, an Indian national, is believed to have been aiding Pakistani nationals in securing forged Hindu identities and fake passports, enabling them to stay in India undetected. According to police sources, these individuals were linked to the Mehdi Foundation and had been hiding in different parts of the country using false identities.

The crackdown began when the police apprehended four of these individuals near Jigani, and three others were arrested from the Peenya area in Bengaluru. The investigation has revealed that some of these detained nationals were spread across other parts of India as well.

Key Suspect Parvez Arrested Again

Parvez, a native of Uttar Pradesh, has now been arrested for the third time in connection with the case. He is accused of running a network that facilitated fake documentation for illegal immigrants from Pakistan. His second wife, who resides in Pakistan, is also under investigation in a separate but related case.

Sources revealed that following Parvez’s recent arrest, he reportedly instructed his associates to surrender to the authorities. This led to the voluntary appearance of 10 Pakistani nationals at the Jigani police station, where they were immediately taken into custody.

Ongoing Investigation and Future Arrests Expected

Police officials have indicated that the investigation is still ongoing and expect further arrests as more information comes to light. Authorities are working to uncover the full extent of the network and identify additional individuals involved in aiding and abetting the illegal immigrants.

The arrest of these individuals has raised concerns about national security and the effectiveness of document verification processes in the country. The police are tightening their grip on the situation to ensure that all individuals connected to the case are brought to justice.
