Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Urges Communal Harmony on Janmashtami

Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus extended warm greetings to the Hindu community on the occasion of Janmashtami, celebrating the birth of Lord Sri Krishna. He described it as one of the major religious observances and wished happiness and prosperity to all citizens.

Janmashtami—observed on the eighth day of the waning phase of the lunar month—is a public holiday across Bangladesh.
