Army Chief Lt Gen KJS Dhillon (Retired) Says India Struck 11 Pakistani Airbases
Army Chief Lt Gen KJS Dhillon (Retired) revealed that Indian forces executed precision strikes on 11 Pakistani airbases during Operation Sindoor on May 10. He emphasized that the strikes showcased India’s advanced missile and targeting capabilities, with none of the missiles intercepted by Pakistan’s air defence systems.
Ceasefire Request from Pakistan
According to Lt Gen Dhillon, the scale and accuracy of the strikes compelled Pakistan to request a ceasefire by 3:35 PM on the same day. He added that Islamabad also reached out to international powers, including the United States and Saudi Arabia, seeking mediation to prevent further escalation.
