Apple Expands Fitness+ to 28 More Countries
Apple has announced that its Fitness+ subscription service will launch in 28 additional countries on December 15. This marks the largest expansion of the platform since it was first introduced. With the new rollout, Fitness+ will be available in 49 markets worldwide.
Countries included in the expansion
Among the markets receiving access are India, Singapore, Chile, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and Taiwan. The expansion brings the service into both new regions and existing Apple markets where the platform was previously unavailable. Users will be able to subscribe directly or receive access through Apple One Premier where supported.
What the service provides
Apple Fitness+ offers guided workouts and wellness sessions across multiple categories, including strength, yoga, HIIT, cycling, dance, kickboxing, core, meditation and more. Sessions range from short five-minute workouts to longer 45-minute formats. The service works on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, and pairs with Apple Watch to display live metrics such as heart rate, calories and activity rings during workouts.
Multilingual support and new features
To improve accessibility in non-English-speaking regions, Apple is introducing dubbing and subtitles in several languages. This includes support for markets where English is not the primary language. The company has positioned the update as a major step toward expanding its digital fitness ecosystem globally.
What it means for users
The wider availability of Fitness+ gives more users access to guided exercise tools at home, outdoors or in gyms. Apple expects that the combination of workout variety, integration with Apple Watch and language options will make the platform more useful for a global audience.
