Andhra CM Urges TDP to Strengthen NDA Ties
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday asked party leaders and workers to strengthen coordination with alliance partners — the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janasena Party (JSP) — to boost support for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ahead of future polls. The call came during a workshop of TDP parliament constituency committee members at the party office in Mangalagiri.
Focus on Vote Growth and Grassroots Work
Naidu said the alliance has become stronger over the past year through welfare and development work by the state government. He urged workers to stay connected with people even between elections and to aim for a 10 per cent increase in vote share compared with the 2024 general elections.
Coordination With Allies
Naidu stressed the need for better coordination between leaders, elected representatives and grassroots workers to reinforce the coalition at all levels. TDP leaders were told to work closely with JSP and BJP cadres to maintain unity and expand outreach.
Ongoing Campaign Strategy
The chief minister also asked party members not to limit engagement to election periods but to continuously explain government initiatives to voters. Police-ruled peace within the alliance and efforts to counter opposition moves were highlighted.Andhra CM asks TDP to boost coordination with BJP and JSP to grow support.
