Amit Shah Vows to Hunt Down Pahalgam Attack Perpetrators

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has issued a strong warning to the perpetrators of the Pahalgam terror attack, declaring that the government will ensure each of them is brought to justice. Addressing a gathering in New Delhi, Shah said, “We will hunt down each and every perpetrator,” while reaffirming the government’s zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism.

Amit Shah Pahalgam Response

The statement came amid national outrage over the brutal attack in Jammu and Kashmir that claimed 26 civilian lives. Shah assured the public that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is fully committed to eradicating terrorism from Indian soil.

He made the remarks while speaking at a tribute event for tribal reformer Upendra Nath Brahma. Emphasizing the broader security achievements under the current administration, Shah noted that insurgent activities in the Northeast and Left-Wing Extremism in other parts of the country have been drastically curbed. “It is our resolve to uproot terrorism from every inch of this country,” he said.

India’s Terrorism Crackdown Intensifies

Following the Pahalgam attack, the Indian government has taken multiple hardline measures, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, closure of the Attari-Wagah border, and downgrading diplomatic ties with Pakistan. The Indian Armed Forces have also been granted full operational freedom to respond decisively.

These steps underline India’s approach of holding not just the attackers, but also their handlers and sponsors accountable. The Home Ministry has reportedly directed increased intelligence coordination, stepped-up border surveillance, and intensified search operations in Kashmir’s sensitive regions.

Security and Diplomacy Aligned

India’s response goes beyond internal crackdowns. The government is actively engaging international partners to isolate terrorism-supporting regimes and highlight the global risk posed by regional instability. Calls for coordinated international action have grown louder in the wake of the attack, with India pressing for stronger global resolve.

As investigations progress and counter-terror operations continue, Amit Shah’s remarks reflect a government unwilling to compromise on national security. The message is clear: India will neither forget nor forgive, and every act of terror will be met with relentless pursuit and justice.
