Ajit Pawar Aircraft Black Boxes Damaged In Fire
India’s aircraft accident investigators have reported damage to the black boxes recovered from the crashed aircraft linked to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s aviation fleet, after a post-crash fire affected critical recording components.
Ajit Pawar Plane Crash Investigation
Officials from the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) confirmed that both the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder were retrieved from the crash site. However, investigators found signs of heat exposure and structural damage due to fire following the incident. The devices have been secured for detailed technical examination to reconstruct the sequence of events leading to the crash.
Black Box Fire Damage Assessment
Preliminary assessment indicates the protective casing partially shielded internal memory units, but certain connectors and external components were burnt. Specialists will now attempt data extraction using forensic recovery techniques. Even in heavily damaged conditions, investigators often recover usable information from memory modules stored inside the recorders.
Next Steps In Aircraft Accident Probe
The AAIB has initiated a full investigation including aircraft maintenance records, pilot training history, air traffic control communication and weather conditions at the time of the incident. The final report will determine whether mechanical failure, human factors or environmental conditions contributed to the crash.
