
Afghanistan to Host Bangladesh for White-Ball Series in UAE
Afghanistan will host Bangladesh for a six-match white-ball series in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 2 to 14. The tour will feature three T20 Internationals (T20Is) followed by three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
Match Schedule and Venues
The T20I series will be played in Sharjah on October 2, 3, and 5. The ODI matches will be staged in Abu Dhabi on October 8, 11, and 14, giving both teams valuable exposure to UAE conditions ahead of major tournaments.

The series is seen as crucial preparation for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Naseeb Khan said the matches would help the team build momentum, while Bangladesh Cricket Board CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury described the series as an opportunity to strengthen mutual respect and competitiveness.
