At least 57 militants and 10 Pakistani security personnel were killed in a series of attacks and counter-operations across Pakistan’s Balochistan province, officials said. The incidents took place across several districts, including Quetta, Gwadar, Makran, Chaman, Hub and Naseerabad.

Heavy Fighting Across Districts

Security forces came under coordinated attacks at multiple locations, triggering gunfights and clearance operations. Officials said militants targeted security posts, patrols and civilian areas, prompting swift military and paramilitary response. During the violence, a family of five, including women and children, was also reported killed in one of the affected areas.

Explosives Defused, Searches Ongoing

Security personnel also detected and defused explosive devices planted on railway infrastructure, preventing further damage. Search and clearance operations continued across several districts as militants fled from encounter sites following heavy exchanges of fire.

Worsening Security Situation

Balochistan has witnessed a sharp rise in militant violence in recent months, with separatist groups frequently targeting security forces and infrastructure. Authorities said operations will continue until the situation is brought under control.
